We are fortunate to have 10,000 acres of County Forest Preserves and Fermilab to trail ride in.  All within a short ride from the barn. Herrick Lake Forest Preserve is 1/4 mile down the road.  It's like nothing else to hit the trails and see all types of wildlife such as coyote, deer and wild turkey.

We offer the best in pasture boarding, with a very large lean-to and a very large barn always open for shelter in all weather conditions, 24-7, 365 days a year. Our board comes with infinite turn-out, plenty of exercise, plenty of hay (always hay available 24 -7-365), and the opportunity for your horse to act like a real horse, carefree and happy ... day-in and day-out, with the freedom to roam 11 acres of 2 managed pastures. This is the very best care a horse can get, because it is natural.

The following forest preserves surround Galusha Farm in Warrenville and have many groomed trails for horseback riding:

We are easily found between Warrenville Rd. and Butterfield Rd. just 5 minutes off the I-88 toll way on the East side, of Warrenville, between Herrick Rd. and Winfield Rd. Look for the Galusha Road sign. We have 'Galusha Farm' on our mail box (27W271), on the South side of Galusha Rd.  We have a 3 rail wooden fence around our farm and pastures and are directly across the road from St. James Farm, Saddle Ridge, and Grace Church of DuPage.

Ask about our veterinary program and the fact that none of our 12 horses have ever had colic in the 20 years we have been boarding!

Hi Steve, I've been back from vacation for 2 weeks and have enjoyed riding during these final weeks of summer. Sue, Melissa and I rode to Blackwell Forest Preserve for 4 1/2 hours on Friday! Your barn is PERFECTLY located for Blackwell Forest Preserve, Herrick Lake Forest Preserve, St. James Farm Forest Preserve, and Danada Forest Preserve! I really like being at your barn.
